Our industry standard Avant icon set just got a significant upgrade — icons for 14 different media sources, each in two bold, eyecatching styles!
When we created these icons we were presented with a challenge; how do we stylize a simple logo so it will fit in with the rest of the Avant icon set? What we came up with is two unique styles: a bold, badge style, and one we call “trophy style”. Both look great alongside the rest of the Avant icons, and we hope you’ll be as pleased with them as we are!
The media sources included in the update are:
- Amazon Prime
- Sirius XM
If you already own the Avant set, drop us an email with the email address you used to make the original purchase, at email@example.com and we’ll send you a link to download the update. If you don’t already have this world-class icon set, it just became an even better value at $149, so stop by NTDesignsOnline.com and pick it up today!
Creating the effect of a brushed metal surface in Photoshop can be done in many different ways, but the technique I’m going to illustrate in this tutorial is one of the most effective in my opinion. Specifically, I’m referring to the technique used to create the texture or ridges in the surface of the metal. This can be accomplished using radial blurs and several other techniques, but using a noise gradient, as I will illustrate in this tutorial, is the most effective technique I have come across.
This set includes over 240 media icons in a glossy, black orb style. These icons are free for use in personal and commercial projects, and are great for home automation and systems integration applications. Feel free to share them and repost on your blog or social media pages. We just ask that you credit NTDesigns and provide a back link if you do. You can download the set from the link below.
