Projector Icon with .psd file

This free download includes multiple versions of our projector icon in 10 vivid colors, all 512 x 512 pixels in size. It also includes a Photoshop file containing the 50 plus layers required to create the projector. You might be saying to yourself, “a free template, what’s the catch?” Well, there isn’t one. As with all design firms, we have hundreds of concepts that never make it past the drawing board, Occasionally, one of these will make into production, but then simply be abandoned for one reason or another. Carrera is one of those designs. It’s not that we thought it was hideous or anything like that, we just decided that we no longer wanted to pursue developing it into a full template. To make a long story short, Carrera for the TPS-6X is complete enough that we can offer it to you as a freebie! It has a high-gloss, modern appearance and works well with nearly any background image. Three new button sets added to free downloads

We just posted three new button sets to the downloads area of www.ntdesignsonline.com. There is a ‘brushed metal’ set called Grimlock. These look great on a dark background and they also pair well with our segmented gauges and sliders. The glossy ‘woodgrain’ set is named Guthrie. Use this set with a nature scene as your background and it’s like a match made in heaven. Last but not least, there is the slick and shiny black set called Obsidian. These look good with just about any type of background and they also go well with many of our other free graphic sets. Each of the sets includes over 40 buttons with pressed and released states and they’re all in .png format with transparency support. Hope you all like them!

Amulet Icons added to free downloads

A very slick-looking set of shiny, amulet style icons in six different colors. The set of icon symbols is admittedly limited (and somewhat random), but blanks are included in each color for use with symbol fonts. The package also includes a fully vector, layered Adobe Photoshop (.psd) file that can be used to make more detailed icons in any color or size.

Extensive, multicolor, slider/gauge set added to free downloads

I just added a spiffy new freebie to the downloads area of www.ntdesignsonline.com. It’s an extensive set of segmented, “led style”, vertical gauges/sliders in .png format. The set features a wide variety of heights in two different widths: narrow; for gauge only applications, and wide; better suited for touch-operated sliders. The set also comes in five different colors: blue, green, amber, red and violet. There are 120 gauges total (240 graphic files including active and inactive states).

I would love to see these used for a complex, lighting control layout with a bunch of sliders! If you do something cool with them, send me a screenshot and I’ll post it on the blog.

BluTech button set added to free downloads

This awesome, glassy, blue button set has a sleek, modern look that will make your touchscreens stand out from the crowd. We recently tested these on Crestron’s hot new TPMC-3X and they really “popped” on the screen. These buttons also use RTI’s file name convention for “inactive” and “pressed” states so they are ready to drop right into your Integration Designer bitmap library.

MX-3000 Prototypes added to free downloads

These two Photoshop files were originally created for Universal Remote Control’s MX-3000, but they would work well for any 320×240 pixel device. One features a brushed metal look with blue lcd style gauges. The other is a woodgrain motif with deep red gauges and hilites. Both files contain several cool Photoshop layer styles that can be saved, modified and used in your future projects.

Audio Access Photoshop file

If you know what this is, you’ve been in the custom A/V business for too long! This .psd file is a fully vector emulation of an old-school Audio Access keypad. It features layer comps for inactive and active button and led states. Perfect for that Crestron or AMX client that simply refuses to let go of the past.

Crestron iPod emulator added to free downloads

This is a fully functional VT-Proe project that emulates an iPod classic. All of the elements are multi-state and the body of the iPod can change between 12 different colors at runtime. It uses .png graphics so the iPod can be “floated” anywhere on the page. It also includes a separate “shadow” graphic to add to the floating effect. Click here to see screenshots.
